Where’s the Hash key on a Mac?

Just been using my brothers’ iBook and needed to make a quick edit to a CSS file. Quick scan of the keyboard layout, eh WTF — Where is the hash (#) key?
Of course I soon remembered I’d read about this one some place before... yeah alt + 3 is where it’s at! And while I’m on the subject here are some more handy OS X keyboard shortcuts.
